In the evening all the Superiors of the various entities & the members of the General Curia (37 Confreres) were welcomed by the Provincial of Europe Francofona (EUF), Fr. Joseph Famere, the hosting Provincial.

After the welcome dinner, the participants had the Inaugural Session at Saint John’s College (which was established by Fr. Dehon in 1877 before the Foundation of the Congregation; currently it is managed by a Lay Movement ).

Fr. General Superior welcomed all the Superiors and the General Council and inaugurated the Major Superiors Meeting.

The time table and the other practical inputs were given to the participants and the session concluded with the short prayer of Thanksgiving.

Most of the sessions will be held at St. John’s College where Fr. Dehon founded the Congregation & made his First Vows.
